Architects are those black-clad people who make their own ideas and build houses, right? Many people know clichés like this. But what does the work of an architect really look like? The staff of Koschany + Zimmer Architekten KZA will answer this question on Thursday, 12 October, at 3.30 pm.

That afternoon, they present current projects to senior pupils and explain the way from the first house design to the finished building. Students also have the opportunity to learn more about requirements and future perspectives – and they can find out that the entry into the construction industry does not necessarily have to lead through university.

In an architectural office, one can also find draughtsmen who implement the architects’ designs in scale-oriented plans. KZA trains young people in this area year by year. In the course of the event, current and former trainees explain why their job is fun, and how they have grown after their training.

The event ends at 5.30 pm.
