ALDI EnglandThe ALDI Logistic Centres are the core facility within the supply chain to ALDI Stores in every country ALDI is in business. They are the backbone of the ALDI organisation and as such the building quality, to allow successful storage and commissioning, is interlinked to ALDI’s success.
Every ALDI Logistic Centre supplies app. 80 no. stores. A rising number of stores make additional Logistic Centres necessary to enable a successful supply of goods in time and quality to the stores.
ALDI Stores Ltd. have erected a number of Logistic Centres in Britain so far and have recently started to adopt the scheme which was originally developed by KZA for ALDI Süd in Germany. However the design was modified in a large number of elements and the design was totally compromised.
It is now the aim of ALDI Stores Ltd. to develop a new Prototype design to suite the English market much better and to realise this building in a number of different locations.
